Learning Resources of the Departments- Library computer and other resources: The Department has well established laboratories for carrying out the course programmes and cater to the needs of UG students. The department has one computer and a L.C.D Projector. The Department has a small Library and books are made available to the students.

Modern Teaching Methods and use of ICT in teaching-learning :The department periodically adopts modern teaching with slide projector, OHPs, LCD’s etc. as and when required. Especially during students’ seminar LCD projectors are extensively used. The department also arranges seminars and group discussions.

Plan of action of the department for the next five years : The department has an action plan for the next five years. It has plans for achieving the following targets:

  1. To introduce new innovative academic programmes relevant to the needs of the society and students.

  2. To motivate the students to pass national level competitive examinations

  3. Plan to strengthen the in-house research work.
