The Krishna Kanta Handique State Open University Study Centre at North Lakhimpur College has been imparting quality education ever since its establishment. The students who could not take advantage of the system of formal education for diverse reasons have enrolled themselves at the study centre for higher education. At present the study centre is conducting classes for B.A, BMC, and BCA courses. Those students who could not clear matriculation can also aspire for higher studies by clearing BPP (Bachelor Preparatory Programme).

Dr. Chitta Ranjan Borah is the Co-ordinator of the study centre.
